Recordings
Ancient-Future.Com Records releases audio and video recordings by the many musicians associated with the broad musical scene surrounding the band Ancient Future and the musicians who perform with them. The label is set up as an artist coalition. All records are owned by the artists, who have full creative control. Releases on the label are available through this catalog and at select stores.

This special preview of the debut recording by Ancient Future leader Matthew Montfort showcases his pioneering work on the scalloped fretboard guitar, a special modified instrument able to produce ornaments more characteristic of the sitar. While previously known more for his compositions for the trendsetting world music group Ancient Future, this first solo effort showcases his improvisational music.
